The origins of the Nadal distillery go back to 1898, when the Mallorcan founder Antonio Nadal Muntaner decided to produce and market liqueurs while maintaining artisanal methods.

The wood-fueled copper still used to distill herbs can still be seen in the original factory in Bunyola at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana.
