Revealed to the international public in the course of the 2000s, the Peruvian Millonario distillery actually saw the light of day in 1950.

The founding family's adventure dates back to 1904 when the Hacienda Agricola de Chiclayo was created. Chiclayo is a historic town framed by the sea and the mountains, located in the northwest of the country.

In 1922, the Hacienda, which specializes in sugar cultivation, modernized under the direction of Don Ronaldo. In 1938, his son brought industrial machines back from England after his studies at the University of Cambridge, and a little over twenty years later, the Ron Millonario was born.

In 2004, prospectors discovered the exceptional quality of the brand's rums and contributed to its international reputation.
