CHAMAREL

Located in the south-west of Mauritius, in one of the most picturesque and fertile places of this small country, the Chamarel distillery enjoys very favorable climatic conditions for the cultivation of sugar cane and aging. rums.

Created in 2008, the distillery is one of the youngest in the Indian Ocean. At an altitude of 300 m, the estate is surrounded by fields of tropical fruit, especially pineapple.

The sugar cane plants are harvested daily by hand from the first light of day.
